Rocko's Modern Life totally kicked ass! i especially liked the wacky deli episodes, rocko was SO FUNNY!! i'm pissed that they don't show it anymore. now they have the stupid F-ing rugrats on all the time, or all the crap-tastic new shows like, the bros garcia, taina, caitlins way, slime time live, catdog, and the old episodes of doug are getting on my nerves. i wish they would play the decent shows again like pete and pete,rocko,ren and stimpy,salute your shorts,garfield and hawthorne high and so on. don't get me wrong,i do like some of the new shows,like spongebob and arnold but bring the classics back,even if they are reruns,they still make me laugh! i hope nick gets the message that some of the new shows suck and replace them with good stuff. does anyone out there besides me feel like almost all the time on nick it's the rugrats? let me know!

I am so glad I found this website! I so miss all the old shows! That was a part of my childhood! I miss all of it from of course "Rocko's Modern Life" to "Ren and Stimpy" And all the old Are you afraid of the dark episodes, and you can't do that on television! I miss all of them! My god they play all this gay stuff today. All the new Rugrats episodes suck, Spongebob, is just a mistake, that is the gayest show. OMG CatDog? What the hell is that?!?!?! I agree with others in this message board that say that Nickelodeon needs to bring back new episodes or even re-reruns of the 'Rocko's Modern Life' show. It was the greatest thing since 'The Ren and Stimpy Show', which was single-handedly the greatest cartoon ever made. The cartoon now that seems to replace these two masterpieces is 'Spongebob Sqaurepants', a great show, but not to be taken as a substitute for 'Ren and Stimpy' or 'Rocko.' I think that since all three shows were/are well-watched with wide audiences, that all three should be spitting out new episodes to please the fans!

Damn you Nickelodeon for cancelling one of your best shows! How could they have replaced Rocko with those other shows they now play? What were they thinking? I loved Rocko's Modern Life! The inane situations in it were some pof the funniest I've ever seen on TV; the odd characters cracked me up! How could they expiate just a great show? i agree with every one Rocko is the best show in the world i have some of them taped the first time i saw Rocko i loved it and wanted to make my own cartoon someday but then they stoped playing Roko now Nickelodeon is trying to be like an MTV for kids.I thing that Cartoon Network should get Rockos Modern Life and Spongebob Squarepants because i think that cartoon network plays scooby doo too much they need Rocko Hefer and Filbert.By the way Rocko i spired me to make my own cartoon called Mr. Fish he looks like Mr.Bighead but he is a fish.iv seen every episode of Rockos Modern Life at least twice and iv never got tired of it.

They didn't take Rocko off for good. In fact, I put on Nickelodeon today at abou 6:00 in the morning and I saw the Angry Beavers. After that, it was 6:30 AM and Rocko's Modern Life was on. So if you really want to watch it you have to wake up very early because it's on at 6:30 AM not PM.

But for yall that love roco as much as I do you can buy the Rocos Modern Life tapes on www.amazon.com. Each tape is about 10 bucks and I got all 4 of them they are all great and have the best Roco shows that we have loved for years. So we cannot keep Roco alive by yelling at nickelodeon but if yall by the videos and all of them then maybe after the check their products and see how many Roco videos that we have bought then maybe just maybe we will be able to bring Roco back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ahhhh....I remember the good old days when I would get up in the morning and watch the crazy antics of Rocko, Heifer, Philbert, and the Bigheads. Those days are gone now and I can't help but wonder if I should post Rocko's picture on any milk cartons. Where has Rocko gone? Rocko's Modern Life was the best cartoon show ever invented and now it's off the air and sealed up in some vault. I don't even care if they only showed re-runs and never made new episodes, just as long as they kept it on the air. But until then I'll just have to remember the episodes. I only have one thing left to say...Rocko rules!!!

Rocko is onw show the whole family can enjoy. Myself, my husband and our son would like to see it again. I like to watch sponge bob and hey arnold, but if caddog or rocket power are on I must leave the room. I like how they would animate Filburt and he would give a look to the audience if Heffer was doing something stupid. I wish Nick would air it every now and then. I have seen it as a choice on upick but of course no one ever seems to pick it. They Nick web site has a place to post messages and there are so many that ask them to bring back Rocko. I think the kids that watched it when they were in kindergarten and first grade are feeling nostalgic (sp?) for it.

In my opinion its like the funniest cartoon on the planet. Now I know you've gotta put "new shows" out there to keep the public happy..but cmon rugrats is still here. I think you should do us all a BIG favor and put rocko back on, hey if it was on at like 3 o'clock in the mornin i'd still watch it! why dont you put it in a crazy time slot or better yet take doug off..thats out dated we all know that and stick it in its place! hopefully i'd think after submitting this oh-so convincing letter you will fulfill my request.

I hate what Nick is doing. The age span went from about 3-12/13 to 3/9 and it is now totally awful. If only we could get the good shows back on. Man i miss them, and i was too young to know that i could keep taping them, arrgh. Now all Nick is would be a cliche of dumb cartoons.

I think we should rebel and send a letter to Nickelodeon, telling them how much we want him back... and they will listen if we can find all the fans out therer that want him back on the airwaves. I have been watching since I was 7 years old (I'm 14 now), and It would be a terrible tradgedy to see Rocko, Spunky, and all the crew leave. I didn't get a chance to tape ANY episodes, and I am desperate for them. My fav's are the one when Heffer is being stalked by Mortimer Khan, and the Spring Cleaning musical O-town did. Hi, I just wanted to say I absolutely love Rocko. It works on so many levels. IT is not just a show for kids it is a show for all ages. The older ppl can see more meaning in some of the episodes and the younger kids just sit back and enjoy it. Or they could do both. I love this show. I think I should be back on. I just think Nick is trying to be like it's counterpart MTV. You need to cater to everyone when you have a family network. And ROCKO'S MODERN LIFE IS FOR EVERYONE!

I've looked everywhere on the internet and i can't find the song that the chameleon brothers made. The one where heffer says nakeeeeed a lot u all know what i'm talking about. Well anyways if anyone knows where i can get it or u just like it too and u want to sa yhey i like it too then u can e-mail me or whatever. Rocco's modern life was a good show, same with Ren and Stimpy and all the classics of my day. i saw either nick puts on the cartoons that were good and not the ones that suck or they make a new channel. And not ANOTHER ooooold show channel i mean come on, theres nick at night then theres that other channel compltetely dedicated to old faggy reruns. What is that about? Seriosuly there needs to be some changes around there.

Why did nickalodeon take off rokos modern life it was a really funny show. I really enjoyed watching it. I also want to know why nickalodeon took off some of the other GREAT shows like "Salute your shorts" I REALLY LOVE THAT SHOW!! Its a shame that these young viewers have to watch stupid pointless cartoons. Such as; Spunge bob square pants, the new are you afraid of the dark(that show is really stupid they should put the old episods on), rocket power, catdog, amanda show, the new episods of all that( I think they should try to get the origanal cast back on there then make new episods then that show would rock!), mick lou and og, pinkey and the brain, and kablam! all those shows are really stupid. Take my advise you would have a whole lot more viewers if you would show some of those old shows because they were alot more imaginative and the kids relate to some of them better. I used to watch nickalodeon but since all these stupid shows started to come on I dont watch it anymore. I think I would watch more of it if the fallowing reqiurments are made. Enstead of watching nickalodeons cartoons I watch cartoon networks toonami. On that show I watch Dragonball z and sailor moon. I and alot of kids I know would be happy and be very gratful if you would change some of these things.

You should make a new season of Rocko so nickelodeon will put it back on. It's a good thing it was on a couple days ago. Yeah, it was on Thanksgiving at noon, 12:30, 1:00, and 1:30. I hope no one who writes to hear missed it because me and them seem like they really want to see it again. They were also episodes that can't be seen on any of the videos too. So therefore, I hope nobody missed it. Especially the one at noon because it was a Thanksgiving special.

This is for my five-year old son, Michael. He has been watching ROCKO for two years, and it seems to have run off the air (Nickelodeon). I explain the parts that aren't totally understandable by young children ... he just enjoys the silliness as well as the sensitivities. All in all, he likes to laugh. I'm writing again because ther's a couple of things I forgot. Ren and Stimpy came back witch I really like but Ren and Stimpy coming just IS NOT ENOUGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ren and Stimpy came back, SO CAN ROCKO. I DON'T agree that we should take Spongebob off but we should take the Thornberries and Rocket power off. If you can, talk to the people that make up the schedual on Nickelodeon, and see if you can get them to include Rocko in the schedual. Try if you can because I'll do any thing to get Rocko back on.

I read somewhere that this was around the time that Joe Murray got less involved with the making of the show. This was also the time when they changed from the themesong with the great beat, to the other one! Oh well, one season of great episodes is still more than we deserve :)

Rocko is the best show ever!!! I bought the four videos they have available online, the skiing episode, Christmas, and with friends like these were all completely hilarious. Plus the one where Dingo comes for Rocko. I would really love to see my favorite episode again though, "Put to Pasture" where Heffer eats too many pasture puffies and there's a flashback to their high school years. Filbert completely flips out on Heffer after he eats all the potato chips, it is SO funny. I'd love to see that episode again!!!

Great site! Like all the links and such. But I think the best part of the site's gotta be the interviews... love that behind-the-scenes kinda stuff! =). Anyway, I checked out that Mike Ptyza guy's site (he signed a few messages under this one) and man, there is one of the funniest movie clips from Road Rash there. I particularly love the not-so-subtle adult humor in Rocko's Modern Life. Like in episode 23B--GUTTER BALLS: Ed walks next door to Rocko's house to invite Rocko, Heifer, and Filb to compete against his all female bowling team -- only to find them engaged in a game of "Spank the Monkey."
The show is an absolute riot -- I wish there were more episodes!

I am a big fan of Rocko! IMHO, I think Rocko is one of(if not) the greatest cartoon characters of the decade. Actually, I think he is the greatest! Why? You can associate with him. The mean boss, the crabby neighbors, the loyal friend who drives you crazy, neurotic friends, and more! Rocko goes through all this and so do all of us in real life! Of course, we're not all wallabies and our friends aren't steers and turtles, but still. Actually, is anybody here competing in a jackhammer sport? :)
I am so glad to see so many Rocko fans. Rocko shows us all that there are ups and downs in "modern life" and we all go through them. But somehow, we make it through no matter how hard times get. You might be reduced to nothing by the end of the day, but you're back on your feet the next. All I need to know in life I learned from Rocko!

Hey all I just signed but I am signing again... because I'm on this "Rocko high" right now! Grr today they showed the wakky delly episode... which kind of gets on my nerves and I was really looking forward to a good episode! But hey it was pretty good and it fulfilled today's Rocko cravings, a little bit. But now I have to wait til tomorrow for another episode... nooooo!! Oh well. Hey I've been noticing that thinking about Rocko seems to bring me bad luck - today I was walking around my room cleaning up when I realized that Rocko was coming on! I got excited and was thinking about it (hey, I'm easily excitable) and I fell and twisted my ankle... and that is not the first time this has happened right before Rocko... you think maybe I have to get hurt at some point and it is timed so that Rocko could ease my pain? Maybe, but nevertheless... "Obsessing day is a very dangerous day!!"

Hey folks just another Rocko fan (funnily enough) dropping in. To the person who said they tape every episode of Rocko - wow you've inspired me! I think I should start! My least favorite episode is the one about, dang, I cant think of it... grrr... you know... the take-off on the odd couple (I think) with Loopy the ringworm... WHAT IS THE OTHER ONES NAME oh well dont I feel stupid now. Anyway, my favorite is definately "Who's for Dinner?" Its one of the older ones, but I always liked those better, especially the first season, after that it seemed like every episode was about bugs in one way or another and was boring!! But thats OK, cuz the rest are funny enough to make up for it... ya know why I love Rocko? Not only can little kids find it funny, but its a "grown-up" cartoon too. I remember being 7 and wondering why my Dad thought it was funner than I did... (I'm 13 now). Anywayz, see ya'll later! Rocko forever!

I don't know if you realize this, but in that particular quiz, number 24 (i think it is) will not register the correct answer even if that is the one you selected. You know, this Jeta person could learn how to spell Murray. Its M-U-R-R-A-Y. See, there is an A in there. I used to like Ren and Stimpy until it got stupid (Hmm, let's see, that would be the what, the first episode? Yeah I think that would be the first episode). Ren and Stimpy - Don't watch a really stupid show like that!!! Stick with Rocko's Modern Life although it may be over, it is still on reruns, and they are just as good as the first time they aired. I don't see many Ren and Stimpy reruns, maybe what, once, or twice a month? Stop making complaints about the really good shows out there Jeta. Besides, Ren and Stimpy came out only one year before Rocko did. You really can't call it an original cartoon. I hope I don't see Jeta writing here anymore with complaints about my good friend, Rocko. LONG LIVE ROCKO, not Ren.

Hi! I'm T-Storm from New Jersey! Originally from Arizona! Hi Neal! Well anyway Rocko's cool but Hefer & Filburt really make the comedy. If only they made a movie about Rockos Modern Life, because Rugrats are worse than the Elton John. (That's pretty bad.) I think whoever made Rocko is the coolest!

Alright Rugrats Really Suck. I Think Rugrats is too big of a deal. You Know that RugRats Are Worse than Stocks. I Hate Stocks. You know i don`t watch Rocko on Nick beacause they think nothing of rocko. I Watch it On Australian Broadcasting Network (ABC) I Live in Perth Australia. Anti Rugrats Anti Rugrats!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My favorite shows are Camera Shy and Zanzibar. I Took lot`s of music out of many of the shows songs but not just songs and put them onto a tape. Songs like Come Crawl With Me, The Toads from Okeefenokee, That was used as a single. Wallaby of the west That was used as the name of a Album. Spring Cleaning Single and on the wallaby of the west album. R-E-Y-C-L-E etc etc etc etc.
